Marci's Tu Tu is paper pieced and the skirt has three layers.  This technique was taught one of Irina's workshops.  The string of pearls I found at Antiques By the Water Tower in Exetor, California.  They have all colors. There is a two layer tag tucked behind the doilie.

It is Time For Tea is a paper bag card.  There are three tags in all and  a place for a gift card.  Two tags are inside the bag at the far right, Thought this would be appropriate for a gift card or taking someone to tea.  The teacups are Spellbinders Nested Tea Cups.  Flowers, corners, are from various punches.  The metal corners are from the funkie junkie. The paper is 6 x 6 squares that I had in my stash and do not know the name.  Just a hint of Tim Holtz Distressed Ink, dusty concord for the effect I wanted.

Happy World Card Making Day

National Card Making Day, which is now known as World Card Making Day, was founded by Paper Crafts magazine to bring card makers together at the beginning the busiest card making season of the year and the first was celebrated on October 7, 2006.

The initial celebration involved the Paper Crafts magazine audience only.  Due to the positive response and the worldwide popularity of card making, it soon became known as “World Card Making Day.”  This year we celebrate its sixth year which is held annually on the first Saturday in October.  What a great way to unite card makers, hobbyists, retailers, and manufacturers.

Here is a pop up card and belly band idea from Splitcoast.   I used the Luka La La Land stamp and black, white, and red cardstock.  The stars are from scraps.  Luka is colored with copic markers.

Happy Father's Day To A Reel Great Guy

Father's Day Card using LaLaLand's Fisherman Luka.  Luka is colored with Copic markers.  Dp paper is TCP Studio.  Martha Stewart and Nesties punches and Tim Holtz ink.  I decorated the front, inside and back.

Paper Bag Celebration Card "50"

Paper Bag Celebration Card for a friend who is turning "50"  This card has many parts. This idea is from Irina Blout's last workshop. I am using a white kraft bag.  Recipe:  DP TPC Studio Party Heart Sprinkles, Party Hats, and Birthday Wishes, Nesties, Various punches, embellishments, Tim Holtz Fire Brick Ink.  Of Course, Marci is helping to celebrate.  She is stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The hat on the front side is from Nesties triangles.  I just shaped it a pinch to give it some dimension.  The new Marci stamp with the flower pot tucks inside the card and the "party" card tucks on the paper bag pouch.  There is also a monetary gift and some flower seeds for planting that are tucked in the front inside flap.

Good For A Hug Birthday Card

This is a simple 5 x 4 1/4 gift card holder for a 9-year old.  On this birthday card I used one piece of dp paper and one piece of cardstock.  Recipe:  Three Bugs In A Rug dp paper, Tim Holtz number, ribbon, stickles and sentiments.  I did paper piece the cupcake but it is hard to see online.  For some reason I could not get a good picture.

Birthday Card for our grandson who is turning 10 and is going to Disneyland.  Pockets in side will hold Disney Pass plus some money to spend.  Recipe:  Moxie Paper, Tim Holtz numbers and Distress Inks.
