La-La Land Crafts For Kids was started with the idea to have a place for children to share their love to create with our stamps. Win all eight stamps from the October 2011 Release by visiting La-La Land Kids blog. See the badge on the sidebar of my blog
A joy worth repeating, again and again, warm conversation, tea, and a friend.

Halloween Treat Bag Front Back and Sides
The treat bag is a small paper bag from Michaels (there are 12 in a package). I used Tim Holtz dies and stamps. The distressing colors are gathered twigs, spiced marmalade, and black soot. The bag is folded in up about two thirds of the way and score tape on the side to make a small pocket for the lollipops. There is another pocket in the back. I made 12 for my grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Inside there are lollipops, gummy bears, candy bar, peppermint patty, and toy. In some, I put a small color book and a toy in place of candy bar, plus lollipops. Some of the children are allergic to corn syrup and nuts. The lollipops are Yummy Earth Organic Fruit Lollipops and Annies Organic gummy bears.

Happy World Card Making Day
National Card Making Day, which is now known as World Card Making Day, was founded by Paper Crafts magazine to bring card makers together at the beginning the busiest card making season of the year and the first was celebrated on October 7, 2006.
The initial celebration involved the Paper Crafts magazine audience only. Due to the positive response and the worldwide popularity of card making, it soon became known as “World Card Making Day.” This year we celebrate its sixth year which is held annually on the first Saturday in October. What a great way to unite card makers, hobbyists, retailers, and manufacturers.
